Finally, Drug controller general of India has approved pune based serum institute for ‘Covishield’. And, bharat biotech ‘Covaxin’ got approval to use vaccine in emergency situations. Dr VG Somani assured that these Vaccines are 110 percentage safe. He added that Covishield is 70.42 percentage effective and covaxin is also safe, help to rebust immune.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “It would make every Indian proud that the two vaccines that have been given emergency use approval are made in India”.
Both vaccines have to be stored at temperature between 2° – 8° Celsius, and given two doses.
To develop Covishield, serum institute has submitted 73, 000 participatent and also started trial phase II and phase III in India on 1600 participatent. It is already use in abroad, develop by oxford university and AstraZenca.
Bharat biotech ‘covaxin’ has submitted result 800 participatents result, which is conducted with help of Indian medical council of Research ( IMCR ), and it showed to rebust the immune response. Third phase is also On, In a trial almost 22000 to 25000 people have been vaccinated.
