Supreme court in his last week hearing order to freeze contentious farms laws, and also made special committee to discuss the issues with all sides. 

Farm laws agitation has entered in 56th day today but unable to find any solution. This evening, 12th round talks between farmers unions and government came up with some positive note. Now, government is ready to hold this laws for 1 – 1.5 years and file affidavit in the supreme court.
“The government placed a new proposal before us in the tenth round meeting – it is ready to set up a special committee which will consider all our demands along with the three new laws,” said Balkishan Singh Brar of the All India Kisan Sabha. 
“The government also proposed that until the committee completes the review, all three new laws will be put on hold for one-and-a-half-year,” he added.
“They have also mentioned that we have not accepted this proposal in today meeting. Our demand is still same to repeal these three farm laws” Said.
