I was a Legal Research Intern at LegalRath, and it was an incredibly enriching experience that successfully bridged the gap between academic theory and the practical application of legal research. During my internship, I was entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities that challenged my research abilities every day, and this is what truly made the experience stand out.
I had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of assignments, including drafting case briefs, writing legal articles, preparing detailed presentations, and comparing intricate concepts relating to criminal, civil, and evidence law. I also authored several long-form and short-form legal articles and designed legal MCQ tests.
My absolute favourite assignment was preparing legal news updates. This task sharpened my analytical skills, kept me consistently updated on the latest legal developments, and significantly enhanced my everyday legal awareness.
I would definitely recommend the LegalRath Internship Program to fellow law students who are looking to strengthen their legal research, writing, and analytical skills. The program offers a structured and supportive environment where interns can explore various facets of law, develop practical skills, and receive valuable guidance throughout their learning journey.
