How to know a law career for you or not?
If you want to become a lawyer. You need to master certain skills to survive in law College. Like, Reading (lawyers are readers), writing skill, good communication skill, Logical and Analytical skills etc. As a law student, you participate in moot court, parliamentary debate, research, judgement writing, etc. so for this, you will need these skills. However, the law as a profession is the most fascinating career. Here you learn a lot about the law of this land and understand the rights of the people. If you want to fight for underprivileged people or for their justice then I will definitely say this profession is waiting for you.
How to choose Law College:
Choosing a college is the most challenging things to do so I make things easy for in a practical way. After 10th choose any stream, it does not matter then start preparing for competitive exam for (CLAT, AILET, LSAT, SET, BHU)etc. if you qualify these entrance exam then you will join most prestige’s law college in India. I will recommend you to focus on CLAT, AILET entrance exam specifically. If you did not score well in your entrance exam then private colleges are also available. You can join in any private colleges after that you have to give your 100% to compete with national law students. For this, on the starting point, do as an internship as you can write or publish research papers. That will give you the edge to your career.
                         There is two types of program available.
After 12th – BA LLB (5-year Integrated course)
After Graduation – LLB (3 Year Program)
How to start your college:  
First-year is crucial for every student. This is the starting point to build a relationship with your classmate, senior, Alumni etc. you also need to participate in extra-curricular activities to make friends. One of the most important things, if you are not good in English then this is the best time to improve (read, write, listen as much as you can) because it gives you the extra edge in your career. At last, Lawyer needs a good connection to survive in the market so, be prepared from today.
After Graduation Career options:
 1. You can join the LLM program for post graduations. To become master of any of this subject. For examples- constitution law, international law, IPR, Human rights law, corporate law, taxation law, etc.
2.   Becoming a judge is one of the best options for law students.
3.   Litigation lawyer- you can start your practice independently as a civil or criminal lawyer.
4.   You can join any law firm as a corporate and administrative lawyer
5.   Legal Journalist where you cover crime beats, legal proceedings of the courts.
6.   Teaching in Law College and Researcher is the most emerging career options for new law graduates.
7.   If you are expert in drafting then you could become a document-drafting lawyer.
